Morteza Basravi, born in 1977, Esfahan, Iran, after going to high school he was attracted by painting and graphic designing. Therefore he started having experience in sculpture making and one of his work was accepted in The Forth Sculpture Biennale of Iran. Simultaneously, he continued his explore in design, photography and stage design due to his thoughts. These experiences help him to become more familiar with new arts like performance, video art and land art. He could get the first place in video art in Shiraz Small Sculpture and second prize from Dance theater festival in Poland.

Morteza had 6 solo shows in Tehran and Esfahan and participate in more than 35 group exhibitions in Iran.
